Zenvair Pilot YouTube



I started a YouTube Channel to highlight my love for experimental aviation. The channel is focused on the adventures I get to have in my homebuilt aircraft. I have also begun the process of building another aircraft for my father to get him back into aviation. Part of the building process is assembling another Corvair conversion engine to power the plane. Below are links to different video series on the channel along with my Amazon affiliate links to tools to assist others in completing their own aircraft builds.

These are all links to products I personally use. Some of the tools are newer models than what is presently in my toolbox, but are the same products. There are other tools that are similar to what I have but are a better value. I took time to make sure that the tools were made in the USA from quality manufacturers. Also included are links to products you will need to assemble a Corvair conversion engine.



Torque Wrench


If you plan on building a Corvair motor it is critical that you get a good torque wrench for the build. This one is from CDI (part of Snap-On tools Inc) and is American made per their website. Getting critical tools made in the USA make sure you get better quality control than you can expect from any Harbor Freight product.

SK 3/8 in. Drive 6-Point Standard Socket Set



Another critical set of tools you will need to build your engine. Again made in the USA!

Craftsman Wrench Set



Building an experimental aircraft does require a ton of nut and bolts. This set has all of the sizes you should need. Set is includes both SAE and metric sizes.

Loctite 620



You will use this a lot on your Corvair build. This is the only approved loctite William Wynne approves

ARP Ultra Torque



This is used in a lot of applications on a Corvair engine build, and a ton of other applications that come up because you have it.

Best Value for an Aviation Camera



I have been using one of the older models of this camera and it works just as good as some higher dollar cameras.

I have been using this ratchet for years. One of the favorites in the tool box!

This is probably the most utilized tool set in the entire box. My dad had a set as long as I can remember. I have followed suite.
